Yes. We can help explain your plan and offer Support Coordination, connect you with NDIS providers, therapists, community, and other mainstream supports to get the most out of your plan.

Yes. Day, Individual and Group supports can be tailored to your needs.
We have a Wellness / Active Program focusing on healthy minds and bodies. We do a range of fun activities to assist in building skills such as problem solving, teamwork and making healthy decision.
Activities include Yoga, Zumba, Meditation, Aqua Aerobics, Sailing and walks through our beautiful local nature reserves & more. We do have sporting equipment kept at The Hub for outdoors sports games & activities.
Our day programs include Community Based Activities – Walking, bushwalking, ten-pin bowling, laser tag, swimming, mini putt-putt, bowling, trampolining, Yoga, Zumba, Meditation, Aqua Aerobics, and backyard games & sport.
We have a large unisex disabled bathroom with toilet and shower. Full Laundry facilities, additional bathroom with second toilet. Ramp access to front entry.
Yes. Individual activities are chosen by the participant. Group activities are prepared by popularity and per group interests. Choose the program activities that suit your individual needs or we can work with you to set an individual program plan.
All community activity costs, entry fees, tickets, meals, snacks, transport, and travel costs etc. Social Connection Club Program fees are the responsibility of the participant and are separate to support fees for all our programs – Fees are required to be paid for Cooking & Arts & Craft, Music Therapy, Robotics, and are charged at cost. All holiday program activities are pre-booked in advanced and entry fees costs are required to be paid before the activity.
Yes, we offer supported travel training as part of our Social Dynamic Development Program for 17yrs+ and School Leaver Transition to Supports. During school holiday programs we also provide assisted public transport for confidence building and independence.
We also provide transport from school or home to our Hub or activities and return if needed. Transport will be provided either in our Company vehicles or the support workers private vehicle. All our workers have full comprehensive insurance.
Our office hours are 9am – 5.30pm, Monday - Friday. Individual Support hours can be provided outside these times. Day supports are also as per the participant’s requirements, including weekend day supports. Our After School Connection Club Programs start at 3.30 – 5.30pm weekdays. We close on Wednesday the week before Christmas and reopen the 2nd week of January. Dates TBA. And ALL Public Holidays
We have a Recycling Initiative starting shortly and plans for future employment options.
Yes. We have a large front door and entry hallway, 3 individual rooms for arts & crafts, media & gaming, and sensory, plus full kitchen, and separate laundry facilities. We have a large Australia standard Disability bathroom with shower. We also have a massive grassed outdoor area for activities.
The Sounds and Senses, Sensory Room is beautifully decorated and is the perfect place for some quiet time to chill out. It has a huge “Therapy Pod”, low level lighting, visual displays, projector for catching up on some Netflix or watching a movie, sensory toys and relaxing sounds and smells.
Yes. We have a large kitchen that is wheelchair accessible.
We have music as part of our Social Connection Club every term. We change music hosts every term for variety. It could be Music Therapy with Newcastle Music Therapy or Newcastle University Conservatorium of Music or Earthern Rhythm Drumming & Dance. We also have a small collection of musical instruments, drums, percussions instruments, and karaoke machine.
Some of our participants are enrolled in Online Singing and Dancing Classes which are done with the aid of a Support Worker in our centre via Zoom with the provider.
We have a fantastic Smarty Arty, Arts & Crafts Room with a great range of activities and supplies or you can join our after school Social Connection Arts and Craft Program.
No. However, we can offer in home personal support.
Yes. We have School Holiday Programs for children aged 7yrs to 15yrs. For children 16yrs plus we will arrange short getaways and weekly holidays.

Our Social Connection Clubs are a great way to have a look around our centre. If you’d like a closer look, make an appointment with us for a tour and chat about our facilities. Open days will be advertised throughout the year.
