Sports and fitness equipment is kept at the centre.
Community Based Activities – Walking, bushwalking, ten-pin bowling, laser tag, swimming, mini putt-putt, bowling, trampolining, and much more.
We have a large unisex disabled bathroom with toilet and shower. Full Laundry, additional bathroom. Ramp to front entry.
Yes. Individual activities are chosen by participant. Group activities prepared per group interests.
All community activity costs, meal costs, cooking & arts & craft. All holiday activities are paid in advance. Social Connection Club activities. Transport and travel costs.
Transport provided by support workers in their fully insured private cars. Yes, we support travel training as part of our Individual Supports Program and School Leaver Transition to Supports.
Our office hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Or Centre activity hours are per the participant’s Individual Support Plan or as pre-arranged. Additional supports required outside these hours must be in your NDIS plan.
We close Friday week before Christmas and reopen the 2nd week of January. Dates TBA. And ALL Public Holidays
Not currently. We have a Work Skills Recycling Initiative and plans for future employment options.
Yes. We have a large front door and entry hallway, 3 individual rooms for arts & crafts, media & gaming, and sensory, plus full kitchen and separate laundry facilities. We have a large Australia standard Disability bathroom and shower.
Our large conference table doubles as a lunch room where we can all sit together and office administration rooms. We also have a massive grassed outdoor area.
The Sounds and Senses, Sensory Room is beautifully decorated and is the perfect place for some quiet time to chill out. It has a huge “Therapy Pod”, low level lighting, visual displays, projector for catching up on some Netflix or watching a movie, sensory toys and relaxing sounds and smells.
Yes, We have a large kitchen that is wheelchair accessible.
We have “Music Therapy” as part of our Social Connection Club plus a collection of musical instruments, drums, percussion instruments and Karaoke machine. Some of our participants are enrolled in Online Singing and Dancing Classes which are done with the aid of a Support Worker in our centre via Zoom with a provider.
We have a fantastic Smarty Arty, Arts & Crafts Room with a great range of activities and supplies.
No. However, we can offer in home personal support.
Yes. We have a School Holiday Program for children aged 7yrs to 15yrs. For children 16yrs plus we arrange a getaways for a couple of days or a weekly holiday.
